Q. Are there any nuts in KFC products?
A. Not as an ingredient. However, some of our manufacturers may make products containing nuts on the same production site and there is always a minor risk of cross contamination within the food chain. We would therefore not categorically state that our products are free from nuts and their derivatives.
Q. Is there MSG in KFC products?
A. Yes some of our products do have MSG in them.
Q. Is there any dairy product in KFC food?
A. Yes some of our products do have dairy in them. Please visit the nutrition section of this website for further information.
Q. Is there wheat in KFC products?
A. Yes some of our products do have wheat in them. Please visit the nutrition section of this website for further information.
Q. Is the mayonnaise you use pasteurised?
A. Yes, the eggs used in making our mayonnaise are pasteurised.
Q. Is KFC chicken Halal?A. Unfortunately we currently do not use Halal chicken in any of our stores.
Q.How can I become a KFC franchisee?

Q. Who do I call for overseas KFC franchise information?
A. If you are interested in opening a KFC franchise outside of the UK please visit www.yrigfp.com
Q. Do you have any job vacancies at KFC?
A. Check out our careers section on this website to get an idea of role within KFC and register your interest.
Q. Why don’t you offer a vegetarian option?
A. Currently we do not offer a vegetarian option due to the low demand. However, some of our sides may be suitable for vegetarians. Please visit the nutritional pages of this website for more information.
Q. Do KFC restaurants accept card payment?
A. Currently only selected restaurants accept debit and credit cards. We are increasing the number of stores that can accept cards all the time.
Q. Does KFC offer a delivery service?
A. Unfortunately we don’t offer delivery, but many of our restaurants have Drive Thru’s or convenient parking to make it quick and easy for you to pick up your KFC.
Q. Is the packaging that KFC uses made from sustainable resources?
A. All our burger clamshells and chicken boxes contain as much recycled material as is legally allowed. By law we are required to have virgin fibre board in any part of the packaging that is in contact with food. Any virgin fibre comes from board suppliers who use pulp bought from managed forests in Scandinavia. This ensures that any wood cut for paper production is replaced with new plantings.
Q. What are you doing about the amount of litter that is created by people eating KFC?
A. We are aware of our responsibilities to the Management of Litter and all our packaging carries the ‘Keep your Country Tidy’ signs. We also have a Litter Picking Policy. In the Republic of Ireland our franchisees are working with the Government on a Keep Ireland Tidy campaign.
Q. Am I able to pick which piece of chicken I get?
A. Due to the unique way that we prepare and cook our chicken pieces there will only be a limited number of each type of chicken pieces available at one time. Due to this chicken on the bone pieces need to be selected at the descretion of the staff member and not the customer.
